Following are samples of moccasins. Following are a group of baby mocs and then other samples of adult moccasins follow. The baby moccasins range in price from $50 a pair on up depending on amount of beading involved. Note that children usually over age 2 require a larger size and will be priced accordingly. Adult moccasins range in price from $450 and up depending on beading. Please check with us regarding a time frame before ordering.

These are woman's size 7 and these fully beaded mocs were beaded with size 12 seed beads in cobalt, light blue, Sioux blue, Cheyenne pink and greasy yellow on braintanned deerhide with a latigo sole. The deerhide is special because it has been smoked on the inside (to stop the natural tanning process) and the exterior is left a creamy white. I titled this "Dawn in the Blackfeet Camp."
These moccasins were sold to the Smithsonian, Museum of the American Indian, as part of their teaching exhibit in the exhibit taking place now through early 2008 on Women's dresses and accesories. This pair sold for $600. Item M-612.

These fully beaded mocs were beaded with size 12 seed beads in cobalt, light blue, red, white and greasy yellow on braintanned deerhide with a latigo sole. The deerhide is special because it has been smoked on the inside (to stop the natural tanning process) and the exterior is left a creamy white. The interior has been lined with calico - note the top edge and tongue have also been edge beaded and the welt around the bottom of the mocs and the tongue is made with blue trade wool. These were created for a valued customer of ours (thank you Thorn) and will not be duplicated but give you an idea of what we can create for you. This pair of mocs sold for $600.

They were created for a valued customer of ours and the design elements have significance for him (thank you Will.) These were custom-made and will not be duplicated. However, this will give you an idea of what we can create for you.

They were created for a valued customer of ours (thank you Walt) and are a larger version of mocs created for his grandson - see them below. This particular pair of mocs would be $600 plus $10 for shipping and insurance.

The best way to size the moccasins is to measure your child's foot with a ruler, preferably while they are standing. Then use the chart above to choose the appropriate size.

They are 2-1/2" wide x 4-1/2" long (heel to toe), beaded with size 11 glass seed beads in light blue and white. Note the edge beading on the side flaps of the moccasions. They are 2-1/2" wide x 4-1/2" long (heel to toe), beaded with size 11 glass seed beads in four winds design in greasy yellow, cobalt blue, red and white. Note the edge beading on the side flaps of the moccasions. Designed and created by Koki-tus-aki.

Another pair of baby or children's moccasins - same measurements as those shown directly above. They are made from braintanned and smoked antelope hide making them exceptionally soft. Beaded with size 11 glass seed beads in Cheyenne pink and rose in teepee design and four winds design. Note the edge beading on the flap of the tongue. These are very sturdy little moccasins and completely hand sewn with imitation sinew. Designed and created by Koki-tus-aki.
